impronte digitali e intervista / fingerprints and interview

toasted semolina strascinati

my love affair with handmade pasta continues

Making pasta by hand is a way to express my personality, as is cooking in general. In strascinati, my fingers leave their signature quite clearly. Every recipe I create, every dish I prepare reflects not only my taste but also my philosophy of life.

I talk a little bit about myself with respect to my passion for cooking in an interview with Italian Reflections featured today on Italian Reflections Daily.

The photo was shot in color and then converted to black and white (Lightroom preset Sepia Tone).

  1. An excellent interview Simona. It is always nice to know a little more about the friends we have followed for years in the blogging world.

  2. This food porn is getting old, with all the hungry and struggling people in the world, including your native Italy. Non arrivano alla fine del mese, altroche’ esprimere la propria personalita’. Prova a fare una fota degli italiani in fila alla Caritas. Addio.

  3. I’m new to the site but really enjoyed the interview and your gorgeous photos. I’m Sicilian and share your passion for cooking and blogging. I will definitely be returning to your lovely site!

  4. Just as old as your bumptious and anonymous comment (Cynthya who?)

๐Ÿ˜‰ – I really enjoyed your interview. Just as always, you stand out for your gracefulness and accuracy. It a pleasure reading you!

  6. Thank you, Paz! The pasta shape is really fun to make. And if you are a bit nervous or anxious, the repetitive motion soothes your mind.
