My morning strolls in the garden have brought me and my camera lens in contact not only with snails and slugs, but also with long-legged insects called crane flies.
With each leg placed on a different parsley leaf, the insect seemed to enjoy its position and let itself be photographed without moving.
I have an abundance of parsley and no longer harvest from the plant in the photo, so I am not concerned about other creatures enjoying it.
This is my contribution to edition #128 of Black and White Wednesday – A Culinary Photography Event created by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook, now organized by Cinzia of Cindystar, and hosted this week by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook.
The photo was shot in color with my iPhone and then converted to sepia (Lightroom preset Sepia Tone).
The gallery of images contributed to the event.
